Head sommelière Maria Rehermann
Maria Rehermann was born in Dresden, Saxony. After she finished school, she started her apprenticeship as a restaurant manager at Relais & Châteaux Hotel Burg Wernberg. Afterwards, the young gastronomy professional moved to Munich where she started to work at restaurant Palazzo, ran by famous chef Eckart Witzigmann, followed by a job at Bayerischen Hof. In 2008, Maria went to Scotland and gained experience abroad at Old Course Hotel, St. Andrews. Back in Germany, she took on jobs as chef de rang and supervisor at restaurant Landlust on Burg Flamersheim in Euskirchen as well as at restaurant Tim Raue in Berlin. In 2013, her way lead her to restaurant First Floor at hotel Palace in Berlin, where she worked as assistant sommelière followed by a an employment at the pop-up restaurant “Anton kocht”. There, she also took care of the wine sale of the "Weinmichel unterwegs UG“ where the pop-up concept “Anton kocht” belongs to. Since 2015, 31 year old Maria works at restaurant reinstoff and since February 2017 she took on the position as head sommelière. In her spare time, Maria likes to meet family and friends. Most of all, she loves to spend time with her beloved siblings - her twin sister and her little brother.
