Since mid-March, Alexander Seiser is part of our team and, as new restaurant manager and sommelier, in charge of our service. We are proud of his support, as the friendly restaurateur can look back on an impressive career so far: After training as a restaurant specialist and a first position as Commis de Rang at the Hotel Traube Tonbach, he was hired as Wine Steward and Headwaiter on the TUI Mein Schiff 1 and as Chef de Rang in Restaurant Horváth under star chef Sebastian Frank. In the summer of 2014 Alexander started at wine bar Rutz, where he – born in Rathenow west of Berlin – first began as a deputy sommelier and became the position of deputy restaurant manager just one year later and also completed the training "Wines and Spirits" at the WSET in the third level. A few months later, he followed the IHK exam for sommelier in Koblenz and graduated as best of the year.
